Used as a sealant to make raku or other low-fired ceramics waterproof.

Fill the item with liquid and then empty it immediately again. Then let the item dry for a couple of days at room temperature. If the item is not internally glazed, the procedure should be repeated once more.

Also used as a polish for primitively fired items (eg bonfires). Pour a small amount of liquid on a clean sponge and polish the item so that it has a shiny surface. If a silky matt surface is desired, the liquid can be diluted with water (1:1).

NOTE! The product is not toxic, but should not be used on products that come into contact with food because the product disappears when heated to 60 °C.
